About

What Is Counselling?

Counselling is defined as the provision of professional assistance and guidance in resolving personal or psychological problems.

Counselling is a type of talk therapy that allows a person to talk about their problems and feelings in a confidential and dependable environment.

Our counsellors are trained to listen with empathy, congruence and unconditional regard. They can help you deal with any negative thoughts and feelings you may have.

Our counsellors have a person-centered approach based on the teachings of Egan and Rogers. CBT also used.

Counsellors are bound by the Codes of Ethics of their Accrediting associations and confidentiality is paramount.

We prioritize the importance of clients being in a safe environment where they can openly express their feelings.
